He was the first to be able to combine both a colour positive and a negative image on the same transparency film emulsion (Kodachrome) for several years no one knew how he achieved his amazing pictures. Since then his original transparencies have been scanned and he has carefully made only minor improvments to his original images digitally, to create these large prints. His own invented 'Painting with Light' technique involved photographing projected images (that were not often projected on to a screen) rather than computer manipulation. Choose any size, but each picture is limited to 8, (regardless of the size). Available up to 150cm, or 59 inches longest side. (150 x 107cm approx.) Mounted on Aluminum under a 6mm Acrylic glass. No frame is required and the limited edition picture appears to float off the wall. There are three different albums to see, the first one 'Painting With Light' contains award winning studies that John created using his own unique, pure photographic technique, to create his original Kodachrome transparencies in the 1960's. The second album 'New Digital Pictures' are studies that John has created using Photoshop, these studies are formed from images and ideas that developed from his 'Painting With Light' earlier works.
